Side is nestled between Antalya and Alanya, it dates back to the Roman Empire when it was a very important trading port, much evidence of this period still remains standing with many more ruins being excavated. One of the evident land marks of this time is Side's beautiful well preserved amphitheater.
A stroll down the main street of Side will bring you to the pretty harbour with many Turkish restaurants and bars overlooking the bay.
Adjacent to Side harbor is the famous Apollo temple. Walk around the Side streets of Side and you will see many old original Turkish Houses. Once you have visited you will always want to return.
